Harrisonburg Rescue Squad is run by a Board of Directors currently consisting of the Chief, President, Two Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary, and up to three members at large.
Members of the Board of Directors are elected every year by the general membership. The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing all corporate business and ensuring the financial well-being of the squad.
Operational officers are responsible for coordinating and managing day-to-day activities (i.e. responses to 911 calls, member training, fleet management).
